CONNOR SLATTERY, DIRECTOR
Connor Slattery Photo

My name is Connor

If I had to use only one word to describe myself, it would be 'passionate'. I’m in love with telling visual stories that capture our shared human experience, and I’ve always made it my mission to not only entertain but also enlighten viewers from all backgrounds.

Originally from Wellington, I made the move to Auckland in 2016 to study Screen Production at The University of Auckland, where I graduated with First Class Honours in 2019. Since then, I have been working in the industry as a production assistant on large-scale film and tv projects, and as a freelance video director.

Outside of my work, I am a huge animal lover, with two golden retrievers back home with my parents in the Bay of Plenty and an orangutan I sponsor in Borneo, Happi.

What they Say

Connor directed Cure Kids 50th-anniversary video and did a fantastic job of portraying our story in a way that captures hearts and minds. We have a complex story to tell, and Connor instinctively knew what would work for our business and our audience.
